We look forward to this years joint string and wind chamber program. Select advanced wind and string members from the NYO San Diego Premier Symphony will be performing world class chamber music repertoire this coming January 20th, 2017. Come join us that evening to enjoy chamber works including the Glazunov String Quintet, Smetena String Quartet, Joseph Haydn String Quartet Op 76 C Major and a Clarinet quartet by Michael Kibbe

Member Call time: 6:00 pm

DRESS CODE - When members participate at the scheduled winter and spring concerts held every year, students will adhere to the following dress code:

Young Ladies: White blouse, black long skirt or black dress slacks, black dress shoes and black nylons. No large or flashy jewelry.  Young Men: Black suit or tuxedo with black dress pants with long sleeved white shirt, black bow tie, black dress socks and black dress shoes.

CODE OF CONDUCT - The New Youth Orchestra musicians are ambassadors for the organization, and the behavior of each musician reflects upon the entire group. Each student will be expected to use good manners, display common courtesy, and show consideration for others. A successful NYO experience requires a cohesive group in which each individual accepts and follows the same standards of behavior.
